I'm a fiction writer, okay? If I didn't have a wild imagination, what would I have?
On the surface, I'm your average joe. I live and work in Houston, Texas with my husband and three kids, I drive a Suburban, cart the kids to their various activities, and we take summer vacations to our favorite camping spots, usually in the Austin Hill Country or West Texas somewhere. We love the West Texas desert and look forward to retiring there some day; after living near the hustle and bustle of a big city for so long, we look forward to getting back to our small town roots and living a slow life.
I've been writing for as long as I can remember--since I was eleven or twelve--but it wasn't until 2011 that I challenged myself to really study the craft and write a novel-length story. I posted How to Save a Life chapter-by-chapter online, and I was very pleased with the feedback I received. I took some time off to study the craft of self-editing--wow, what a learning curve!--and the reworked novel will be available on Amazon in May 2012.
Please check back every so often for updates to the website. Also, feel free to send me an email or visit me on Facebook.
Cheers!
